My approach

I work from an integrative humanistic perspective, which focuses on the ‘here and now’ experience of the person. The goal of counselling is achieve greater self-awareness and encourage the client to take greater responsibility for their lives. These changes are facilitated within a therapeutic relationship which is non-judgemental and accepting of the clients world.

I have gained experience working in university student services, the voluntary sector and private practice and private rehabilitation clinic.
